I’ve been following Erich Barkhuizen from CrossFit Ivory for about 8 months. CrossFit Ivory is on the other side of the Equator, and they are in the thick of winter, whereas we are coming into warmer days in Southern California.
School is out for the summer, and if you haven’t already, you should take time to “re-connect with what you want from CrossFit”.

You may also feel like your Crossfit is stagnating and everything is just generally hard. We all get it at some stage. You feel generally flat and demotivated and the cold isn’t helping.
I was feeling like that this past week or so, but got myself out. Here is my advise.
Reconnect with what you want from Crossfit
Some people do it for the adrenaline, others for the competition, some to just get fit or for weight loss. Set that goal be clear and specific. Also face the fact that you will not achieve your goals if you only work at it 6 months of the year….
